Terms of Service

Last updated July 13, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and TripLink ("TripLink," "we," "us") governing your use of the TripLink platform at gettriplink.com and its related services (the "Platform"). By creating an account, clicking a button that references these Terms, or using the Platform, you agree to them. If you use the Platform for a company, you confirm you are authorized to bind that company.

2. What TripLink is - and is not

TripLink is a technology platform where licensed transportation providers ("Providers") post trips and independent professional chauffeurs ("Chauffeurs") accept and perform them. TripLink provides the marketplace, verification workflow, live trip tools, invoicing, payment links, and reputation system around that relationship.

TripLink is not a transportation carrier, a party to any transportation agreement, an employer or agent of any Chauffeur or Provider, a payment processor, a money transmitter, or an escrow service. Transportation services are provided entirely by independent businesses; the Provider remains the operator of record for its trips. Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's own terms.

3. Eligibility and account review

The Platform is for professional use by persons at least 18 years old operating a legitimate chauffeured-transportation business. Every account is reviewed by a person before marketplace access is granted. Chauffeurs must submit and keep current their driver license, certificate of insurance, vehicle registration, TCP documentation, and vehicle information. You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you submit; providing false or altered documents is grounds for immediate termination.

Verification is a standing standard, not a one-time check: changing your vehicle or replacing a compliance document returns your account to review, and new trip acceptances pause until re-approval. Approval confirms successful platform review; it is not a guarantee of any party's future performance.

4. Chauffeur membership

Chauffeurs pay a flat monthly membership fee (the amount shown at signup and on your billing page) with a free trial that begins when your account is approved. Billing is handled by Stripe; you may cancel at any time from your billing page, and access continues through the period already paid. TripLink takes no commission from trip fares, and fares are paid directly into the Chauffeur's own Stripe account. Stripe's own processing fees are deducted by Stripe under the Chauffeur's Stripe agreement. Providers use the Platform for free.

5. The marketplace

Providers post trips with a stated fare. Open trips appear on the live board to eligible approved Chauffeurs, and the first to claim a trip is assigned it. Once claimed, both parties are expected to perform: the Chauffeur to run the trip professionally as posted, the Provider to pay the settlement on time. Cancellations, no-shows, and edits are governed by the flows shown on the trip itself, and each trip keeps a full service record (status history, GPS trail during the active trip, manifests, invoices, and payment events).

6. Payments - platform only

All trip settlements are paid through the Platform: the Chauffeur issues an invoice, and the Provider pays it through the secure Stripe payment link (or, where the Provider Payment Terms apply, the backup charge described there). Funds go directly to the Chauffeur's own Stripe account; TripLink never holds, routes, or takes any portion of trip funds. Payment made outside the Platform does not settle a trip, and no party can mark a settlement paid by self-report - payment status is confirmed exclusively by verified Stripe events. Settlements are due within the Provider's payment window (48 hours of issue by default, per the Provider Payment Terms); an unpaid settlement pauses the Provider's posting until resolved. Providers additionally agree to the Provider Payment Terms before posting. Standard Stripe processing fees may apply.

7. Conduct

You agree not to:

  • take, solicit, or settle Platform-sourced work outside the Platform, or circumvent it after being introduced to a counterparty through it;
  • submit false information or documents, or misrepresent your business, vehicle, or credentials;
  • harass, threaten, or discriminate against any user or passenger;
  • post ratings or messages that are fraudulent, defamatory, or unrelated to genuine service experience;
  • scrape, probe, overload, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Platform or other users' data;
  • use the Platform for anything unlawful.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you submit (photos, reviews, messages, documents). You grant TripLink a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that content as needed to operate the Platform - for example, showing your profile and rating to a counterparty on a trip. Compliance documents are stored privately, reviewed for verification, and never published.

9. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time once your outstanding obligations (unpaid settlements, active trips) are resolved. TripLink may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, present a safety or fraud risk, fail re-review, or misuse the marketplace, and may pause features (such as posting or claiming) as described in these Terms and the flows on the Platform. Sections 6-13 survive termination.

10. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." TripLink does not guarantee the volume of trips, any level of earnings, uninterrupted availability, or the performance of any Provider, Chauffeur, or passenger. Review and approval reflect a manual document check at a point in time and are not an endorsement or guarantee.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TripLink's total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the Platform is limited to the greater of the membership fees you paid to TripLink in the 12 months before the claim or one hundred US dollars ($100). TripLink is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for the acts or omissions of any Provider, Chauffeur, or passenger.

12. Indemnification

You will defend and hold harmless TripLink and its officers, employees, and agents from claims arising out of your transportation services, your breach of these Terms, your content, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact Support and give TripLink 30 days to resolve the issue informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms as the Platform evolves. If a change is material, we will notify account holders (by email or in-app notice) before it takes effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

15. Contact

Questions about these Terms: contact TripLink Support from your account portal, or email support@gettriplink.com.
