Privacy Policy

Last updated July 13, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains what information TripLink ("we," "us") collects through the TripLink platform at gettriplink.com (the "Platform"), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. The Platform is a professional B2B marketplace; it is not directed to children and is limited to users 18 or older.

2. Information we collect

You provide:

  • Account details - name, email, phone, company name, and a password (stored only as a secure hash).
  • Verification materials (chauffeurs) - driver license, certificate of insurance, vehicle registration, TCP documentation and number, document expiry dates, vehicle details (make, model, year, class, seats, plate), and optional headshot and vehicle photos.
  • Trip and business records - trips you post or accept, invoices, settlement extras, disputes, and ratings and reviews.
  • Waitlist signups - name, email, role, and optional phone and region.

Collected automatically:

  • Location - GPS position of the chauffeur's device only while running an active trip, shared live with that trip's provider and kept on the trip's service record. TripLink does not track location outside an active trip.
  • Usage and security data - IP address, browser type, timestamps, and audit logs of significant account and payment actions.
  • Cookies and browser storage - a session cookie and CSRF token (required for sign-in and security) and your theme preference stored in your browser. We use no advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

From payment processing: payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. TripLink never sees or stores full card numbers; we receive confirmation events and limited display metadata (such as card brand and last four digits) to show payment status and receipts.

3. How we use information

  • Operate the marketplace - matching, live trip tracking, manifests, invoicing, and settlement.
  • Review and verify accounts, including re-review when vehicles or documents change.
  • Process payments and the membership subscription through Stripe.
  • Send service notifications (in-app and email) about your trips, payments, account, and membership.
  • Maintain safety, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, keep audit records, and comply with law.

We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell personal information.

4. How we share information

  • With your trip counterparty. When a chauffeur claims a provider's trip, each side sees what the work requires: the chauffeur's profile, vehicle, rating, and live location during that trip; the provider's company details and trip information; the shared invoice and payment status.
  • Service providers. Stripe (payments and subscriptions), our email delivery provider, our map and address-lookup providers, our cloud hosting infrastructure, and our uptime monitoring (which checks only public availability). Each receives only what its function needs.
  • Legal. When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of TripLink or its users.
  • Business transfers. If TripLink is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may transfer under the same protections.

Verification documents are stored privately, are reviewed by TripLink personnel for approval, and are never published or shared with counterparties.

5. Retention

We keep account information while your account exists. Trip service records (including settlement, GPS trail, and audit history) are business records retained after trips complete, as both sides may rely on them for disputes, accounting, and legal obligations. If you close your account, we delete or de-identify personal information that we are not legally required or reasonably obligated to keep.

6. Security

Traffic to the Platform is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed, documents are stored in private storage, payment credentials live only with Stripe, and administrative actions are audit-logged. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you as the law requires.

7. Your rights and choices

You can view and update your profile, vehicle, and documents from your account, and manage your membership from the billing page. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting Support; we will honor requests except where records must be kept (for example, settled payment records).

California residents: under the CCPA you have the right to know what personal information we collect (described in this policy), to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. TripLink does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so no opt-out is required. To exercise any right, contact us using Section 9; we will verify your request through your account.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the Platform evolves. If a change is material, we will notify account holders (by email or in-app notice) before it takes effect, and update the date at the top.

9. Contact

Privacy questions or requests: contact TripLink Support from your account portal, or email support@gettriplink.com.
